Civil War Soldier Armed. Co. G, 9th NHV Ruby Ambrotype

  

Super 1/9th plate Ruby Ambrotype of Armed New Hampshire soldier holding a pistol across his mid section and holding his hat with Unit identification. The image is CRYSTAL CLEAR but has one concern. Someone (not me) tried to wipe the image at one time causing scratches across the face of the soldier and also to the side of his head. I enlarged the attached images to show the defect for accuracy.

In hand the scratches are there, but again- the image displays nicely. Without the scratches the image would be a 10+ image!
