Original Quarter Plate Civil War Tintype of Michael H. "H", 33rd Massachusetts Infantry, along with his Promotion Document given in the field at Kenesaw Mountain, Georgia on July 1st, 1864.

Griffin poses before a camp scene holding his Enfield Rifle and complete set of British accoutrements, including cap and cartridge box, and snake buckle. The Tintype is in very good condition with uniform spidering of the top varnish that does not detract (and does not show up as prominently as in these scans). The Promotion measures 10 x 15 inches, folded in three places but in excellent condition, signed by Adjutant Caleb Blood and by Lt. The image is housed in a composition case, separated at the spine.
