This is a high grade, very rare thermoplastic tintype case featuring the images of a Native American family. What makes the case special is its patriotic Lady Liberty theme, quite uncommon.

The case alone is worth the asking price and could be used to enhance even more valuable images if you choose. That being said, Native American images from this period are even more rare than African American, as many had been moved west during the Trail of Tears about twenty years earlier.
