Up for your consideration is this wonderful ambrotype image of an unknown Union Cavalry trooper from the American Civil War. Our trooper is armed with a Sharps carbine and his buttons have been gilted. The image has a halo around it as have most of our ambrotype photos. The image is very clear. One half of the case is missing but the gold frame and glass are there. The outside of the case shows real wear. The size of the image is 2 by 2 and 1/2 inches. A wonderful addition to any collection! I will answer any questions you might have regarding this image to the best of my ability, so please write. Thank you for your interest!
