1/6 Plate Civil War Tintype of Union Corporal in Half Thermoplastic Case

  
Offered here is a nice sixth plate (2 3/4" x 3 1/4") Civil War tintype featuring a confident-looking young Union corporal. He sits before a decorative backdrop in the photographer's studio, with his chevrons visible on his frock coat. One leg is crossed over his knee, revealing the piping along the sides of his trousers. This is a nice, crisp image and it's housed in half a thermoplastic case.
