Very Nice U. S. CIVIL War Officer Tintype With Rare Savage Revolver And Sword

  

This is a wonderful example of a Cased Tintype Image that features a fully uniformed Civil War Officer proudly posing with his Savage revolver and Staff and Field Officer's Sword. The image is of very good quality and has survived in excellent condition showing a great amount of detail as well as continues to wear most of the hand-painted gold highlights. The glass and frame as well as the case all remain in very good condition however the case cover has been lost along the way nevertheless being standard in size, would be easy to replace. Outer Case measurements are 3 5/8 inches tall by 3 1/8 inches wide. Be sure to add me to your favorites list.
