1/4 Plate, Cased, Hand Tinted Daguerreotype of. Antebellum Pre Civil War Soldier (possibly Artillery) with red and white plumed Shako with open horn badge, red fringed epaulettes, white waist belt with oval US buckle.

Great crisp image measures about 3 1/4" x 4 1/4" and is in very good condition. 3 3/4" x 4 3/4". Is in very good condition with intact sturdy hinge and both working latches, some wear to exterior of case as shown. Please see photos (and please ignore reflections).
