For your consideration is this fantastic antique Civil War tintype photograph of a soldier identified on the back as I Vogan, Co K 100th, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania. Really fantastic armed photograph of the man holding his musket fitted with the bayonet. His belt plate is obscured but you can see the eagle breast plate. The backdrop adds to the intrigue of this amazing photograph, showing a camp scene and flag waving in the wind.
Irester Vogan enlisted enlisted and mustered into K Company of the 100th Pennsylvania Infantry on 2/28/1864. He was wounded on 6/2/1864 at Cold Harbor, VA and died of his wounds on 7/12/1864 at Lawrence County, PA. He died at his home. The photograph has some wear around the edges from the frame, but overall EX condition and sharp. It measures 4" by 2.5", and will make a fantastic addition to your collection.
This came in an older glass frame and that will be sent with, although the back has fallen apart and will no longer hold the image.
