Very attractive cdv album with all of the tin types and cdvs identified as to who is pictured. There are two Civil War cdvs on the last page which I took out of the albums so that I could photograph the backs. Both of the Civil War CDVs have been clipped, one on the bottom the other on the corners.

Altogether there are 61 tin types and CDVs contained in the album along with several newspaper clippings that further identify who are pictured. This album measures approximately 6 wide by 7 tall and 2 1/2 thick. Some of those pictured were from Pawlet, Vermont with the family names of, Hurlett, Gifford, Robinson, Wollaston, Clark, Smith, Penfield, Snell, Wickham and Brown. One of the Civil War soldiers is identified as, Charles Gifford with a stamp that was hand cancelled in 5/65. The other is not identified on the CVD but only on the album page as, Gifford/Civil War Soldier.

James Robinson was a very prominent citizen in Pawlet and he was also a Wagon Maker. He was born in 1826! The item "Antique CDV and Tintype Album Civil War Soldiers & Identified Family Photos" is in sale since Sunday, November 24, 2019.
