Civil War 1/6th plate Ambrotype. Outdoor Over Coat shot
Nice standing outdoor view of a very young Soldier in a very large coat. Over Coat shots are pretty rare. There is minimal wear on this image with some emulsion loss around the soldier, but it does not take away from him. The shot is clear with great contrast The last image shows him with an oval matt to show one of those will hide most of that.
It comes as the first pictures lists with the square matt and full case. The case if a full Leatherette case in excellect condition with a very vibrant pillow. Two of the shots show him with an 8th plate image behind him, that image is not for sale or included in this listing.
