US Civil War Soldier Lot Major Adam Cyrus Reinoehl GAR Medals Letters Documents

  
Incredible lot of personal items of well known Pennsylvania union soldier major Adan Cyrus Reinheol of Lancaster. He was a member of the 76th Pennsylvania Volunteers known as the Keystone Zouaves. He fought at Fort Wagner and Cold Harbor and lad the charge that resulted in the capture of of the batteries at Morris Island, SC. This lot has his personal items in plastic that is attached to poster board. Both boards include recently printed biographical information and copies of same photo.

Below is a list of original items from his life. GAR delegate medal 1887 Harrisburg.

Personal essay on gentlemen dated 1856. Assignment order dated 1864 signed by General John S. A calling card of a civil war dentist working for the 76th at Hilton Head, SC camp. A CDV photo of his dog. A poem or elegy dated 1859.

Two letters to his future wife. Dues receipt to the Hamilton Club dated 1891. A rare 1885 Portland Maine GAR delegate medal.

A photo marked father with is likely Reinoehl later in life. A medical exam pensioners voucher dated 1873. Two more letters to future wife. A personal essay titled Mind and Muscle dated 1860.

An envelope from the Ordance Department signed by Brigadier General Alexander Brydie Dyer. Ive put up the maximum amount of photos. This is a truly outstanding, historic collection.
