An original pair of Civil War era oval albumen photos from the Harvard Class of 1865, 1 A pleasing image of 26 Harvard students, some w top hats, lounging in the entrance of Harvard College's Gore Hall. 2 Harvard Campus from the Cambridge Green showing a panorama of the campus incl Harvard Hall, Christ Church, etc. Many members of this class which entered Harvard in 1862 served in the Civil War. These handsome images on 13 x 11 mat are attributed to notable photographer George K Warren of Cambridge, Massachusetts circa 1864-65. Edges word, age stains, overall VG. I got these with some Harvard Class of 1865 albumen photos I acquired 25 years ago. General Orders and other imprints.
