We are offering two separate photographs in the same union case - one photo is a tintype of a Civil War soldier and the other is an ambrotype of a young lady, who may possibly have been his daughter. Photos are in a rare union case - the front and back panels are made of wood; the rest of the case is made of thermal plastic. Photos and case are in Excellent Condition, except half of the brass frame (that surrounds the brass mat) is missing from the photo of the girl. Also, there is a hairline crack in the wood in the corner of the back of the case which goes through to the inside of the back of the case.
