Original sixth-plate (1/6) tintype photo of a quadruple armed Civil War soldier. Note that he has one gun holstered, one in his hand, plus one sheathed knife. In his other hand he is holding a second knife - it's blurred as if he was moving it around or swinging it during the shot. Tintype is in very good antique condition with no bends.
Some light grime on the surface. It's behind glass, and UNCASED, as found. Along the top edge is Neff's Feb 1856 patent.
