Civil war soldier tintype

  

Fantastic tinted 1/4 plate tintype of two Union infantrymen. Both soldiers are standing with their muskets at their side with the bayonets attached. Nice view of the US belt plates, eagle breast plates, and cap boxes.

Cartridge box is visible on the soldier to the right. There is some surface wear and a few very soft bends in the image. It has a mat and is in a Riker box (see pics).
