Up for sale is a rare full plate tintype photograph depicting a Civil War soldier in uniform. The plate measures 8 x 6.5 inches while its original wood frame measures 13.5 x 11.5 inches. The photograph is then hand embellished with subtle coloring adding soft pink facial tones and gold buttons also adding a fine light texturing to the plates surface. The condition of the photograph is overall very good with just a small knick under the sitters left eye and of course discoloration and imperfections to its matting and frame.
