Mr Statham was wounded at EZRA Church in Atlanta, 1864, and one leg had to be amputated. Statham survived in this condition and managed to live out his life.
The old leather boot has some tears and cosmetic condition is fair / poor. Boot size appears to be about a size 11 or 12.
