Original early-1860s ninth-plate tintype photo of a little spotted dog in a fancy Gothic chair. He's holding a toy, or a leash or something - I can't tell! But under magnification I'm able to see that whatever it was it was actually in the photo with him, it's not something drawn on or any sort of damage.

Tintype is in excellent, undamaged condition behind mat and glass, in a full case that is 3 tall when closed.
