He was Mustered Out on 7/28/1863 at Harrisburg, PA. On 9/29/1863 he was commissioned into "B" Co. He was Mustered Out on 10/3/1863. On 1/27/1864 he was commissioned into "B" Co. He was Mustered Out on 8/3/1865 at Harrisburg, PA.

Priv 11/11/1862 As of Co. 2nd Lieut 9/29/1863 As of Co. B 1st PA Battn Infantry. 2nd Lieut 1/27/1864 As of Co. Died 1/18/1913 in York County, PA.

Buried: Guinston U Presbyterian Cemetery, York Co. He applied for a pension on 8/23/1890 from the state of PA. His Widow (Sallie E Adams) applied for a pension on 1/29/1913 from the state of PA.
