We were told it belonged to a Baltimore Maryland family and we acquired it from an estate in Washington DC. Included is Civil war soldier tin type, looks to be a young Union soldier along with many many other unique photos including colored tin types, some sort of license maybe liquor sales license or similar? And a couple tin types look like they may be of African American decent (shown in photos 6 and 8), men holding hands, all kinds of odd images!
Please note, the album itself has a broken binding, shown in photo 2. Approx dimensions of album are 5" tall, 4" wide, 3 thick. Very ornate hinged latch with stone inlay and inlayed stones on front and back of album. Just overall awesome piece of American history! Please message us with any questions!
