Original Tintype Armed Union Civil War Soldier 1860s

  

This is a relative, but I'm not sure which one! Could be one great great grandfather who came from Germany around 1950 and lived in the Philadelphia area. Or the other one, who came from Canada around the same time and ended up living in Kankakee County, in Illinois. There is a "C" on his hat. I had an expert clean up a photograph of the tintype, which will be included.
